About Me

  • My name is Grace Robeson
  • I am 13 years old and just finished the 7th grade at Cascade Christian Middle School
  • I have been in 4-h for four years!
  • I typically show at several competitive expositions throughout each year (“Jackpots”), as well as the Jackson County Fair, and the Oregon State Fair
  • In addition to showing pigs in 4-H, I also play competitive soccer (8 years)
  • I am a member of my school’s Worship Team and love to sing with my friends!
  • My goal is to attend U.C. Davis or Texas A&M to obtain my DVM and become a veterinarian
  • Participating in 4-H for the past several years has not only given me a jump start on my savings account to help pay for college, but it has also taught me many important life and business lessons. 4-H and FFA Members who participate in a market animal project develop:
    • Work ethic
    • Responsibility
    • Entrepreneurship Experience
    • Marketing Skills and Strategies
    • Recordkeeping and Financial Management Skills
    • Accountability
    • Leadership & Teamwork
  • I am grateful for local businesses like Lifeline Computer Solutions for supporting youth in agriculture and for purchasing my market animals!
