This site contains photos of me and all of my 4-H pigs over the years.
Each year I raise two pigs: a market barrow for sale at the Jackson County Fair, and a breeding gilt for show at the Oregon State Fair.

My first 4-h market barrow was named “Trouser”. He was kind of a jerk, but he taught me a lot about 4-H and what happens if you don’t train your pigs well!

My second 4-H market barrow was named “Captain Jack Barrow”. I loved jack so much, he taught me a lot, and even won me a belt buckle at the 2024 Jackson County Fair.

My third 4-H market barrow was named “Tank”. He was the sweetest boy, and won Reserve Champion Bred & Fed pig at the 2025 Jackson County Fair. Tank’s conformation and disposition made him very special.

This is my fourth year in 4-H! I am in the Intermediate age group, and my barrow “Ranger” is one of the nicest pigs I have had so far! We have attended many jackpots in preparation for the upcoming 2026 Jackson County Fair.
My name is Grace Robeson. I am 13 years old and just finished the 7th grade at Cascade Christian Middle School. This is my 4th year in 4-H, and I have raised a market pig and breeding gilt each year. I also usually enter art into the fair!
In addition to raising pigs, I have played competitive soccer for 8 years, and am a member of my school’s Worship team!
I love animals and aim to become a veterinarian after graduating college.
